Bare Dubs records formed in summer 2006 to support the already well established free dubstep
and grime mix download site Barefiles.com. The website has grown from a free download site to a
vital part of the community providing forthcoming talent the same opportunities of exposure as those of more established artists by
allowing people to submit their mixes. In summer 2007 an online shop was launched exclusively selling digital tracks from Bare Dubs
along with merchandise and records from Bare Dubs and many other labels. Bare Dubs' aim is to release tracks from producers around
the world that have previously not been given the opportunity to release on vinyl. Deapoh, the 19 year old behind Barefiles.com and
Bare Dubs, set off the label with 3 limited edition 10" records. Being different from the usual 12" records, the size and label name
denotes that of a dubplate. The releases from 004 onwards are being pressed onto 12" records exposing artists from countries such as
Australia, Finland, Sweden, America, the UK and many more countries.
Each release is mastered at Transition Mastering Studios and distributed by
S.T. Holdings Ltd.

BDR004:
A. L-Wiz - Fruit Shop
B1. L-Wiz - Pirates
B2. L-Wiz - Syrup Feeling
Release Date: 21-Nov-2007
Format: 12" Vinyl
Information:
For the first time Bare Dubs is pressing 12" records,
now delivering 3 tracks from the Swedish producer L-Wiz. This is a very summery, chilled out release. The first track 'Fruit Shop'
has some incredible piano skills with a reggae groove and a flowing sub bass line. The track evolves into a synth which is more
connected to Dubstep before dropping out into a live solo to top off the production skills. 'Pirates' brings more energy with a
rough synth lead and light bubbly piano to dub out the sound and create chilled out vibes. 'Syrup Feeling' sounds perfect for a
movie with a very low sub bass line and the trumpet creates a relaxed vibe. The drum groove is different compared to your normal
tracks as it has no snare. The track progresses by slowly leading you on into it's skank and multiple breakdowns. |

BDR003:
A. Kromestar - Zulu Dance
B. Kromestar Ft. Leebra - Corrupshun
Released: 01-Sep-2007
Format: 10" Vinyl
Information:
Again showcasing two different sides
of the spectrum, Kromestar gives us 'Zulu Dance', an african tribal riddem with a rough bass line that progresses
from simple stabs into double time madness. The fat 4x4 beat is guaranteed to get heads bopping. The flipside
'Corrupshun', featuring Kromestar's sister Leebra, brings a light reggae influenced dub with a solid pounding
bass line, sure to be a hit for the summer. The light piano works harmoniously with the trumpet to progress the
song. The drums are extremely well produced sounding fat on every system. |

BDR002:
A. Tes La Rok - Uprise
B. Tes La Rok - Kill Dem
Released: 29-Mar-2007
Format: 10" Vinyl
Information:
Straight out of Finland, Bare Dubs is proud
to present Tes La Rok's very first Dubstep release which has been met with great acclaim. The release has lead to Tes
La Rok unleashing several more anthems on some of the scenes established labels and notching his total release count
to over 10! Two very weighty tracks on this plate, which are sure to get the dance bouncing. Tes La Rok's trademark mid
bass sound delivering the goods on these beauties. The first track 'Uprise', sounds like an angry, evil demon shouting
at you from the speakers! The tune is extremely hyped and crazy as the mid bass and sub follows each other. As with
'Uprise', in 'Kill Dem' the mid bass and sub follow each other but on a calmer level. The mid bass switches between
roughness and dirt. Well produced, fat drums and percussion are experienced in both these tracks. |

BDR001:
A. Conquest - Moodswings
B. Ramadanman - Response
Released: 22-Dec-2006
Format: 10" Vinyl
Information:
The first release of many from the Barefiles
label, this plate spans two styles of the dubstep sound. Conquest on the a-side delivers a dubbed out stepping riddem with
a skanking groove and catchy synth lead. This calm track never gets boring and could fit well into a movie sound track with
elements from a western. The drums are extremely well produced with Conquests trademark skank and groove that fits well in
every mix. On the flip, Ramadanman's first record release brings a very dark subby tune backed with a techno-esque rhythm.
The drop surprisingly attacks you half a bar late and comes as a shock to most people. With Ramadanmans trademark rolling
drums and solid sub bass this track progresses with dirtier bass rolls switching up through out the track. This track is
backed with an evil laugh that plays with your mind! |
